Mr. Jim Sheridan 2nd Degree Black Belt (III)

Mr. Jim Sheridan (III) is an Assistant Instructor for Maynooth Taekwon-Do School.

He began training in 1989 in both Palmerstown and Neilstown Taekwon Schools and between 1989 and 1994 he competed in a number of national and international tournaments, taking national titles in both sparring and patterns relative to his grade. Mr Sheridan returned to Taekwon-Do in 2007 under the instruction Mr. Gareth Curran (V) and the International Taekwondo Federation (ITF) awarded his 1st Degree Black Belt in 2012, his 2nd Degree Black Belt in 2014, and his 3rd Degree Black Belt in 2016.

Throughout his time in Taekwon-Do Mr. Sheridan has competed both on a national and international level. He has participated in seminars and master classes under Grandmaster Brendan O'Toole, Master Val Douglas and Master Gerry Martin and received training in self-defence and awareness. He continues to take part in these events as part of his personal development in Taekwon-Do and is currently training towards his 4th Degree.
